Time to stock up on those hunting season essentials! Hunting season in the Texas Hill Country is more than just a hobby; it’s a tradition. Whether you are tracking a trophy buck or managing the population, having the right gear makes all the difference. At Odiorne Feed, we stock the essentials you need to turn a good hunt into a great one.

First, reliable feeding equipment is the backbone of your strategy. You need feeders that disperse corn consistently to keep game coming back. Check your motors, timers, and batteries now to ensure everything runs smoothly. Pair your feeder with high-quality attractants like protein pellets or mineral blocks. These supplements not only draw deer in but also support herd health during the rut.

Next, consider your concealment. Your blind is your home away from home during the season, so comfort and camouflage are key. inspect your blinds for tears or structural issues, and ensure your shooting windows operate silently. If you need an upgrade, we offer sturdy options that keep you hidden and protected from the elements.

Prioritize safety. Never head into the field without checking your stands and straps for wear. A safety harness is non-negotiable when hunting from an elevated position. We stock headlamps and flashlights. Pack a basic first aid kit and always let someone know your location. After safety comes comfort! We stock Buddy Heaters and Turtlebox Speakers.

Success favors the prepared. Stop by Odiorne Feed in Johnson City to grab your corn, batteries, and gear before you head to the lease. Good luck out there!
