Beat the Heat with a DIY Stock Tank Pool

Beat the Heat with a DIY Stock Tank PoolBeat the Heat with a DIY Stock Tank Pool! Looking for  something more affordable than a private inground pool? Make your own stock tank pool with the help of Odiorne Feed in Johnson City, Texas! These affordable stock tank pools provide a fun watering hole for kids and adults.  Best of all, stock tank pools save thousands and are easy to set up and maintain.

HOW TO MAKE A STOCK TANK POOL

First, select a site for your stock tank pool, one that is level, such as a flat area or on a deck or concrete slab. Remember to leave room or space behind the pool for your pump and hoses.

Check out our Stock Tank Selection here. After you clean it, decide how visible you want the hoses and pump to be. Some folks hang the hoses over the side and weigh them down with cinder blocks (see picture). If you prefer a cleaner look, measure and drill holes in the side of your tank for your hoses and pump. You’ll need a small pump to filter the water. You may want to consult with a trained electrician since we’re talking about water and electricity.

Personalize Your Pool

If you’re handy, create a deck around your new pool or a rustic backdrop. Or plant a beautiful garden or design a landscape around your pool. Add lighting or a waterfall for a spa-like feel. If you prefer the simple look, throw an umbrella up for shade, add some beach balls and call it a day!

At Odiorne, we’re here to help you beat the Heat with a DIY Stock Tank Pool.  Turn your backyard into an outdoor oasis.
